It’s a Friday with the Sun moving into Cancer (of course) and the moon touching its single degree of exaltation (the 3rd degree of Taurus, AKA 2° - 2°29’) overnight. The day is HIGHLY AUSPICIOUS for enchantment, one of the best this year, and this proved a unique challenge for creating a ritual. I started by looking at Goddesses around the world that were associated with the Sun. There are MANY. However, I also wanted to avoid appropriating systems that weren’t in my spiritual or cultural Overton Window for a one-off ritual. I don’t feel comfortable treating spirit beings like interchangeable cans of soup (cream of Prosperity God – yum!) and I hesitate to introduce you to beings that I don’t already have a relationship with (that’s what these rituals are in some way, an introduction to members of my posse – like the Agathos Daimon.
