The Sovereignty Incubation Arc

– From Fear to Fearless –
A Nine-Month Sovereignty Incubation for Risk Management

Inaugural Cohort Starting Lammas 2026

One of my personal obsessions is enchanted risk management. It comes from both my professional (two decades working as a project manager, including creating and managing risk and crisis response initiatives) and personal experience. Integrating the tools of manifestation, forecasting, and enchantment with an agile approach to dealing with risk and crises has brought me huge personal benefit. It’s also threaded it’s way through my work here at Circle Thrice. Early on I created a series of posts… that became a book (2020)… that got revised (2023)… then turned into a massive expanded course (2025).

Look around you. The tools of enchanted risk management are needed in the world now, more than ever. So I’m taking my work in this area a step further…

The first cohort of the Venture Incubation Arc was the proof of my Connection thesis: all things are stronger in relation. A small group working together doesn’t just learn, they gain strength through practice and mutual support and accountability. It becomes more than the sum of its parts. I’m using the highly successful Incubation Arc structure and applying it to enchanted risk management.

Because risk management is not just an idea you absorb, but a mindset you embrace and a capacity you develop (like a muscle). And, like anything, it only really gets useful when you use it in your own life, based on your own fears, your actual risks, and your personal calculations for dealing with them. That’s what this arc is for.

? What is this thing ?

The Sovereignty Incubation Arc is a nine-month, small-group container built around the Risky Business methodology. It runs from Lammas to Beltane – August 5, 2026 through May 5, 2027 – through the dark half of the year and out the other side. We start during the harvest, taking stock of where we actually are, turning a cold and clear eye on our personal risk profiles. Then, during the dark months, we do the deep work of crisis aversion, mitigation, and even turning risks into benefits (yes! it’s possible). We emerge at Beltane with something we didn’t have before: a plan, a system, and a sense of calm coherence that comes when you shift from a fear mindset to one of action and resilience.

This is not just a live version of the Risky Business course, though it uses the course as a framework. The Arc is where you learn and apply the framework so it becomes yours. The small cohort size means you have the time and space to really dig deeply and get personal feedback. By doing the work together, we support each other, workshop solutions, and hold each other accountable.

Most people don’t struggle with risk because they lack information. They struggle because risk is scary! And fear clouds judgment and makes us reactive. And the advice you read online? It doesn’t hold up under real pressure. The arc is designed not just to teach you more, but to work the methodology in your actual life, with real situations, decisions, and consequences. We are modeling coherence, accountability, and calm with and for ourselves and each other.

By the end of The Sovereignty Incubation Arc, you will have assessed your actual risk landscape, made real decisions using the full decision cycle, and built your own risk management practice. You will trade fear of the unknown for fearless action and the personal clarity to know that, truly, shit happens, but we are empowered to get it together, clean it up, and stride forward with nothing clinging to our shoes.

You don’t do it alone. We’ll do it together. That’s what sovereignty looks like. Not an absence of risk, but your capacity to move through it with clarity and intention. There is no promise of specific outcomes, only the commitment that the work is integrated into your life.

The Arc also includes:

Phases of the Arc

Reckoning: Lammas through Samhain (August 5 through November 5)

We begin by seeing clearly. This phase covers issues and crises, risk assessment, and the full Assess cycle. Each participant maps their actual risk landscape — not a theoretical one. This is where most people discover that what they feared most is not actually their greatest vulnerability, and what they’ve been ignoring is. We work this material both practically and magically, because the places fear distorts our vision are exactly where enchantment can help us see.

Weighing: Samhain through Imbolc (November 5 through February 5)

This is the risk management phase of the arc. Choices and chances, the Assess/Decide cycle, and the tools for making high-stakes decisions without stress. We go into the dark of the year here, which is appropriate. We’ll weigh real options, real tradeoffs, and real constraints. The group becomes essential in this phase.

Fortifying: Imbolc through Beltane (February 5 through May 5)

The final phase where we create the system that outlasts the Arc. We integrate everything from previous phases into a coherent personal practice. And by personal I mean one you make your own, based on your own risk calculus and landscape and magic. This is what you take with you when the Arc ends. By Beltane, you won’t just be prepared, you’ll be different. You will have a working magical risk management practice specific to your household, your risk profile, and your life. You will have tested it under real conditions. You will have made decisions you were afraid to make and built systems that didn’t exist before.

Will life still present risk? It’s likely. Will there still be chaos? Absolutely! But you will have changed your relationship to it and be ready to face the future calmly, coherently, and with enchantment on your side.

? Who is this for ?

The Arc is for people who are tired of reacting and ready to build something more durable. Who want to integrate practical strategy and magical intention in how they navigate uncertainty. And who can commit to nine months of showing up — for themselves and for the group. It may not be a fit if you are looking for comforting lies, shallow hacks, or a framework that works without putting in the work.

The Sovereignty Incubation Arc runs from August 5, 2026 through May 5, 2027. It is held in a small group with weekly live sessions and guided thresholds. Permanent access to the full Risky Business course is included ($197 value).

Cohort size is intentionally limited, and application is required.

Investment: $250 per month for 10 months

First payment due at enrollment; subsequent payments on the 5th of each month (August through April).

If this feels like the right work for the season you are in, you are encouraged to apply.

A note on applying: This is a small, hand-reviewed container. I read every application myself and will reach out personally with a response. If it feels aligned on both sides, we can schedule a brief call to talk through details.
