In the past few weeks, I’ve been called to do a bunch of Jungian shadow work and I’ve noticed other people in my life having a similar trend. Maybe it’s because of the Saturn / Neptune conjunction we’re in the middle of (this is a slow moving aspect)?Whatever the reason, I’ve decided to lean in and, as usual, that means you’ll be hearing about it!
First, I’m calling out days in the planner during the next quarter where I think there’s a natural alignment with shadow work and also suggesting Sphere and Sundry materia that’s aligned with this kind of work — based on both my direct experience and the product sheets. Second, I’ll be blogging and talking about this work more as well.
I honestly can’t decide if I see more days for shadow work in the planner because there are more days or because that’s where my focus is. Like when you buy a certain car and then suddenly see that kind of car everywhere (so many Tacomas!)? Regardless, the work of accepting our shadow monsters and integrating them is GOOD WORK. And I love the alignment with the sunniest and hottest months of the year where I live. Because in order to see the shadow, well you have to shine a light on it!
